Born February 3, 1928 in Budapest, Gabor is a humanist photographer who has spent the past 60 years documenting the daily eloquence of his host land, Quebec. According to several art historians (with whom we obviously agree), Szilasi’s work is considered a major contribution to contemporary Canadian photography.
